Earlier in this manual we examined and discussed in some depth the faults arising from a lack of capacity in air-cooled condensers (see: analysis of the symptoms and practical aspects pages 171 to 190).  

In this chapter, we will extend our study of this subject by examining those HP faults that are characteristic of total loss, water-cooled condensers controlled by a PCV.
