HISTORICAL ACCOUNT

Having noted in the eighties that absolutely no rational method whatsoever existed for repairing refrigerating installations, Patrick Kotzaoglanian created the ElecRepair-A/C software (for refrigerating system and electrical repairs) on CBM then on Apple II.

In 1988, ElecRepair was migrated to IBM PC and "ElecRepair-Commercial Refrigeration" was written.

In 1989, Refrepair.0 (repair training) and the 277 first pages of the Refrepair Manual were written.

In 1990, Brice Kotzaoglanian created the company Kotzaoglanian Ltd. and began marketing Refrepair.1 and the first edition of the Refrepair Manual.

These products met with incredible success, both with professionals and training centres. Refridiag.1 (breakdown simulator) was marketed in 1992.

In 1993, versions 1.1 (in colour) of both software packages were marketed.

In 1995, the A/C2.0 versions and the second edition of the Refrepair Manual (477 pages) were marketed.
A Russian partner translated and marketed the three products.

In 1997, Refrilec-A/C2.0 was marketed in France (electrical repairs on refrigeration installations).
A computing engineer joined the team, enabling the technological leap from Refrepair-A/C2 to Refrepair.3.
The team presented its products at the Lyon Expotherm Exhibition.

In 1998, an Italian partner translated and marketed Refrepair.3 and the Refrepair Manual.
Refridiag.3 was marketed in France.

In 1999, a Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Engineer joined the existing team.
The Refribase Manual (266 pages) was written and the Refribase.3 software package (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Explained to the Beginner) was created.
The third edition of the Refrepair Manual (626 pages) was marketed in France.
The team presented its products at the Paris Interclima Exhibition.

In 2000, a second Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Engineer joined the development team.
A Spanish partner translated and marketed Refribase and the Refribase Manual.
Refrepair.4 and Refridiag.4 were marketed.
A British Refrigeration Engineer translated the entire range into English.

In order to keep abreast of its expansion, Kotzaoglanian Ltd. was transformed in 2001 into Kotza International, and moved into its new premises in Tallard (05 Hautes-Alpes, France).
A Sales Manager was hired.
The English versions of Refribase.3, Refrepair.4 and Refridiag.4 and the two manuals were marketed.
The Italian versions of Refrepair.4 and Refridiag.4 and the third edition of the Refrepair Manual were translated and marketed.
Chilrepair (repairing liquid coolers) was marketed in France.

In 2002, the English version of Chilrepair was marketed.
The team participated in the Paris Interclima Exhibition.

Forecasts for 2003 :
Marketing of Hydraurepair.4 (repairing hydraulic circuits used in refrigeration and air conditioning).
Marketing of Refrilec.4 (electrical repairs on refrigeration installations).

Kotza International will participate in the Birmingham (UK) HVAC Exhibition (Hall 19 - Stand E145 - , 25 to 27 February 2003).
